Wilec Exports’ international trade expertise is supported by the broad range of internal expertise on products and product application.
Wilec has expanded its location reach to the industrial city of Kitwe, Zambia. With Zambia and its neighbouring countries being a significant mining focused market, opening a branch in the country made commercial sense for the business. Target markets include Central, West and East Africa. The strategic focus is to grow the Wilec footprint across Africa, setting-up branches with a goal to develop manufacturing facilities.

Wilec has embarked on an intensive modernisation and recapitalisation program. The program has been rolled out in both the Olifantsfontein and City Deep manufacturing facilities. The state of the art machines that have been installed have already produced improved quality, control and efficiencies.
In addition to this, product diversification and market substitution have also been factored into the procurement and planning of the equipment purchased.
Extensive training has been rolled out to our manufacturing teams such that both man and machine are equipped to deliver products that exceed specification and customer demands.
